New Faces

A portrait series about refugees who arrived in the last years in my hometown.

The housing for refugues was distributed over the whole town and one communal accommodation was situated further outside. So the people who had moved there were commuting every day into the town with bikes they had received. Over the course of one year I stood at the same spot and photographed the people who had just arrived and made their into town on a sometimes busy street.
